| The multi-colored mesh is I've read, but you can get solid colors as well. I hear alot of people say it's worth the $30+ for a kit, but who knows. | |

| I think theres a big thread about this on TLF, but I think that I read that multi colored mesh doesn't meet rules of NFHS or NCAA. So if you bought Marc Mesh it would need to be single colored or for an indoor league that follows a different set of rules. I believe that it is legal for box lacrosse though.
Personally, no mesh kit is worth 46 dollars (correct me if I'm wrong about price). But thats just my opinion.

| I'd say if you hate dealing with bad weather messing up your stick more than someone normally would it might not be a bad investment, I read that once the pocket is broken in(which I hear is insanely easy to do) it never bags up in the rain. | |

There's cheaper stuff than Marc Mesh that has the same rain type play in it. Check out composite mesh on www.stringersshack.com. It's claimed to be water proof (haven't played in water with mine so i'm not sure yet) and its a heck of a lot cheaper than Marc Mesh.

| Does your pocket hold its shape well? What kind of mesh do you have? | |

| I've honestly never really used mine. I've got it in a broken triton and I only use that stick when i've got friends over and we wanna throw around or something. But it throws pretty nice, I've got a different kind thats 11 diamonds and there weren't a whole lot of them made. But just go there and check out the site, I think the descriptions give a good explanation of what the mesh is like and what its compared to. If you want more reviews or whatever, theres a huge thread on it on TLF, just search stringers shack or composite mesh and you'll get something.
Siouxlax-I agree with you, I personally think that hard mesh is as good as it gets.

| ready for this tutorial? 1) rip the old mesh out of your head. use skizzors to cut the strings if you dont already have super-strength like anthony... 2) grab some fire, and burn the old pocket, because you want to erase all memory of your former pocket,,, forever 3) log on to www.jimalax.com (http://jimalax.com/) 4) create an account(if you already havent.) (http://jimalax.com/index.asp?PageAction=CUSTREG) if you have an account, please skip step 4 5) click around, find the 10d hard mesh (http://jimalax.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=47) 6) select color, in this example (and in honor of syracuse(who is currently number one in the polls)) we will select orange. http://jimalax.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=27 7) click buy (if you need a link to click "buy", wow.....) find the spools of sidewall string, pick a color (navy to complement our sweetwickedawesome mesh), and hit buy... again http://jimalax.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=325 9) dont buy topstring... it's almost useless, 10) order a few laces to use for shooting strings... go with the 33'' laces-it gives you the flexibility to use all straight/U/V/rolled/weaved set ups. 11) find the "checkout" button at the right of your screen, click it, and follow the simple payment and shipping instructions 12) wait 2-3 days 13) greet the post-man(or woman) with a warm smile when he/she delivers your package 14) string up your pocket!!! 15) thank me, buy paypaling $178 to my paypal account done. but seriously, mesh is not worth more than the $10 kit you can find on jimalax.com http://jimalax.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=60 this marcmesh looks cool, but if you want a guaranteed quality product, please please please use jimalax. they have outstanding customer service and they have never failed me(and i've strung quite a few sticks). the end. | |

| dont get multi colored mesh. pointless and considered illegal by the rule book. each side of the mesh is allowed only one color.
only mesh worth buying is JIMALAX, TEXTILE, Canadian from STX (only found in canada)
