| Infinity Lacrosse is proud to announce the formation of THREE organized Madison-area summer lacrosse leagues. Do to overwhelming demand, we'll have a youth league for boys, ages 9-13, a high school league for boys, ages 14-17, and a men's league for ages 18 and over. Players of all ability are welcome to join us...whether you're a seasoned veteran, or you're just picking up a stick for the first time, you'll have a place to play this summer.
All games will be played at Fireman's Park (570 Bruce Street) in Verona between 5:30 and 8:30 pm. Men play on Tuesday nights, high schoolers on Thursday nights, and youth on Sunday nights throughout the summer.
Price is $85 per high school/men's player and $65 per youth player, for up to 11 nights of lacrosse. Players age 17 or 18 years old may play in BOTH the high school AND men's league for $150. All games will feature a certified referee, and all participants receive a reversible pinny for signing up.
If you, your teammates, your players or your child are interested in laxing with us this summer, please send an email to stor0241@umn.edu in the format below:
Name, Age, Position, Years Experience, Current Team(s)
Please write "MADISON SUMMER LAX" in the subject line.
And note, youth and high school players are welcome to list people they'd like to be "teamed up" alongside, and we will accommodate these requests as best as possible. Also, all participants under the age of 18 as of September 1, 2009 MUST have a US Lacrosse membership throughout the summer to be able to play. US Lacrosse memberships may be acquired at http://www.uslacrosse.org/membership/index.phtml
Each league is limited to the first 120 applicants, so be sure to get your information in ASAP. Leagues are already beginning to fill up.
EXPECTED START DATES: Youth - Sunday, June 14 Men - Tuesday, June 16 High School - Thursday, June 18
Once registration fills, registrants will receive further information regarding payment and other details.
Any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me. I can be reached via private message here on the forums, or stor0241@umn.edu.
Here's to a great summer of lax.

"Players age 17 or 18 years old may play in BOTH the high school AND men's league for $150."
is it 14-17 or 14-18.
it's kind of unclear. | |

| High school league is for ages 14-17. Men's league is for ages 18 and over. If you are 17 or 18 years of age, you can choose to play in both leagues.
However, a 17 year old will not be permitted to play only in the adult league, and likewise, and 18 year old will not be able to play only in the high school league.

Not really. At this rate, both leagues will fill completely, regardless of whether a single player can play in both leagues, or not. We'll have a waiting list. The fact that one person can take up two spots for $150, as opposed to two people taking up two spots for $85 a piece would mean less money, now wouldn't it, chachi?

| I suggest you guys start a local youth select team in the future. You can then grow that to HS select teams. Instead of trying to start at the Hs level. This year you had a lot of competition at the HS level with Pat Shea and Whitey but no one is going after the youth select market. It's there you just have to go for it. The talent level is getting better every season.
Your summer league is a great idea. I hope it is extremely successful for you guys and the players involved.
